Scott and Vanessa Martindale are the founders of Blended Kingdom Families (BKF) a stepfamily and marriage ministry established in 2020 with a God-given desire to encourage and equip married couples, blended families, and local churches across the nation. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Scott specializes in counseling pre-marriage couples, marriages, and families with over 15 years of experience. Vanessa is a wife, mother, registered nurse, and current graduate student at The Kings University in pursuit of a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. Through faith and radical obedience, they have partnered with God to help spread the Gospel into all blended family homes and equip the church to better serve blended families. BKF is located in Colleyville, TX and exists to break the generational cycle of divorce by equipping marriages and uniting blended families with the truth of God’s word.

About Scott -
Scott is a licensed counselor, specializing in blended family, marriage, and pre-marriage counseling, and has over 15 years of experience. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Abilene Christian University and followed up with a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin Simmons University. Scott is passionate about his work with marriages, building faith, and leading others in their daily walks of life. Scott’s heart is in partnering with married couples and families with the goal of helping them navigate the process of marriage and blending a family on Kingdom foundations. In his free time, he enjoys playing Golden Tee and Galaga, watching football, traveling, and eating Mexican food.
About Vanessa -
Not only is she a genuine and enthusiastic believer who loves Jesus, His Word, and His people, she is also a registered nurse and attending The King’s University as a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her passion is leading people to discover and walk in their kingdom calling and purpose, seek out freedom and authority in God, and flourish in deeper intimacy with Christ and His Word. In her free time, she watches her boys’ sporting events, has dance parties with her five-year-old, decorates for every holiday, and worships and dances for Jesus!
Scott and Vanessa have been married for 8 years, and, as a blended family, they have four boys together and four golden retrievers. Working together, pairing their passions and skills, Scott and Vanessa have been building their ministry for almost two years, and continue to do so with great zeal and fervor all while maintaining their own beautiful, blended kingdom family.
